Relıable or Unrelıable

 We have joined a new project named 'Reliable or Unreliable'.We are really very excited about our new project. A short summary of the project :(written by Project Founders') Media Literacy has two main points: The first is the ability to use technology to access media content; the second is the ability not only to understand the content presented, but also to evaluate it. Also media literacy is a crucial skill as one of the goal of 21st century. With globalization and knowledge era people spend most of their time using media. Especially the young spend much time on different types of media. With this project, the young will be provided with the necessary equipment to learn the structure and functioning of the media institution, to consciously evaluate the edited content by separating the fiction from the real, and to watch the media critically, in short, to ask the right questions about the media and find the right answers.

 We had a Webinar about our project with my team's students and parents on the ZOOM.We are all excited  and eager  to work on this project.

  Hi:) I am Işıl Özpalamutçu. I work at İzmir Foreign Trade Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. I've been teaching English for 19 years. İzmir is in the west coast of Turkey. My school is one of the oldest and well-known school which was established by the name of 'Language and Commerce High School' on 24th February 1924. Our school has three main departments, Accounting&Finance, Office Management& Secreterial Skills and Marketin&Retail with students between ages 14-19.
